Society6: Society6 is the place to go to support your favorite artists, and get their work on anything from a print to an iPhone case to a mug to a credenza. They also reward early holiday shoppers with this gifting sale. Like on Etsy, you can look specifically for Black artists, and they’ve also curated other collections featuring Asian American Pacific Islander artists.
Go woman-owned: Marie Claire put together a gift guide last year of women-run businesses in every state. “From plant-based skincare in Michigan to handmade Parisian chocolates in Massachusetts, we swear there’s something on this list that will please everyone on yours,” they promised. Among the selections: plant-based skincare from Michigan, jewelry from Florida, and honey from New Jersey.
