Allergic reaction can never be ruled out when introducing anything new to your system. However, psyllium should not be compared to insoluble fiber such as wheat bran, where irritations and allergic reactions are often present. Some individuals may feel minor discomfort with gas and bloating for the first few days. In this case reduce your dose to half and increase gradually to the suggested use over a period of two weeks. Using this product without enough liquid may cause choking. Do not take this product if you have difficulty swallowing.
I am not a huge breakfast person so I take this with orange juice in the morning to get my day started on a healthy note! Would recommend to anyone as it tastes great and is easy to take!
If you are doing any kind of carb controlled diet (keto, atkins, etc) this is the easiest way to get fiber. The orange flavor one is so easy to take. Its not like it tastes like freshly squeezed orange juice, but the flavoring makes it much easier to take. Love this product!
